The NYE Monochrome Masquerade Ball

Another year, another incredible party here at Home House Private Members’ Club…

What a year it has been at 20 Portman Square; after a truly decadent Christmas, it is safe to say that all turkeys are now safe for a another year! Luxurious drinks and indulgent food are now off the menu! If the popularity of the ‘Clean Menu’, launched January last year, is anything to go by then clean eating and drinking has now begun….or perhaps just until the January detox ends!

Members one and all buried October’s deliverance at the House which was our frightening-themed Halloween party and paid respect to the fabulous memory of 2015 by wearing black and white to The Midnight Monochrome Masquerade Ball at Home House on New Year’s Eve.

All colour was left at home, giving everyone the opportunity to sparkle in the midst of the fabulous décor inspired by the Venetian Carnival’s famous ‘Ballo Del Doge’, bringing Comedia del Decadence to the House.

With a blink of the eyes beneath the marvellous masques, it was time to celebrate the New Year in style once again at our social empire. With hors d’oeuvres for all to nibble and tipples of tasteful champagne cocktails, everyone watched the crystal clock and captured 2015’s last moments of monochrome madness until the early hours of 2016.

For those smart-thinking cavaliers who booked early, an intimate Cabaret Supper awaited. Hats off to the masters of the kitchen who managed to match such a fantastic evening of entertainment with just as enticing food for those last moments of gluttony.

For others, the night was spent on the mirrored dance floor which reflected the familiar strangers of the House hidden behind lace masks that brought The Labyrinth to life on the night to the sound of our fantastic DJs.

For those of you who were brave enough to see who you shared your midnight kiss with, feel free to browse the photos of the night which are now on our Facebook Page:

On behalf of Home House, we wish you a Happy New Year and hope the ‘New Clean Menu’ goes down a treat for all those sticking to their word!
