About the play

A Broadway smash-hit when first performed in the 1950’s, Van Druten’s dramatic precursor to Bewitched is a wonderful mix of comedy, romance and magic. Modern witch Gill is troubled by the arrival of a dashing upstairs lodger. Whilst witches are entitled to have fun with whoever they choose, they absolutely must not fall in love, for risk of losing their powers…
