St George’s Choristers in the House
EVENT INFORMATION
Now in their 9th annual appearance in delighting Home House members with a harmonious sprinkling of Christmas cheer, we welcome back the choristers of St George’s Church, Hanover Square.
St George’s is the parish church of Mayfair. Splendidly refurbished in 2010 it was built between 1721-1724 to the designs of John James, as one of the Fifty Churches projected by Queen Anne’s Act of 1711. George Frederick Handel was a regular worshipper at St George’s, which is home to the annual London Handel Festival.
Come and enjoy a glass of mulled wine and mince pies on us.
The choristers will be appearing throughout Houses 19 and 20 (and also on Tuesday 5th).
No RSVP required. Complimentary for members and up to 3 guests.
Time/Location: 6.30pm – 8.30pm, Home House
