EVENT INFORMATION

A SPORTING LUNCH WITH ‘MR ARSENAL’ – Tony Adams

He is simply “Mr Arsenal.”

Tony Adams did it all at the North London club to become one of the greatest players not just in Arsenal’s history but the history of the Premier League and before.

For 22 seasons he donned the famous red and white jersey, many as captain, and in this time he won 4 League titles, 3 FA Cups, 2 League Cups and the European Cup Winners Cup. Moreover he played 66 times for his country, was captain when England famously reached the European Championships Semi Final in 1996 when football really was “coming home” and scored the last ever goal at the old Wembley Stadium.

For much of this period he was an alcoholic, which makes his feats even more incredible. Tony has not just spoken openly and bravely about his addiction, but set up The Sporting Chance Clinic to help others in sport combat their addictions.

Now, just 9 days before the start of the 2018 World Cup in Russia, Tony Adams is Home House’s special sporting lunch guest. Interviewing and hosting by the award-winning broadcaster and journalist Ian Stafford.

Cost: £110 member, £120 guest

Time/Location: 12.45pm, Front Parlour and Eating Room
