We are delighted to welcome Helen Jones to discuss what it really takes to sail around the world.

Helen left a career in the city in 2013, to set sail and circumnavigate the globe in the Clipper Round the
World Yacht Race. The 44,469-mile journey was an 11-month marathon.

Fewer people have raced a yacht around the world than have climbed Mount Everest. In an environment both physically and mentally challenging, the crew dynamics on-board were a fascinating insight into the human psyche. Find out more about what it really takes to sail around the world.

Cost: £5 members, £10 guests (all monies to our charity, Save the Children UK)
