About Cloudy Bay

Cloudy Bay was established in 1985 by founder David Hohnen. With just a sip of Marlborough’s Sauvignon Blanc, Hohnen recognised the potential of New Zealand as a wine producing region. Among the first five wineries founded in Marlborough, Cloudy Bay has become one of the most globally recognised wineries in New Zealand.
