We invite you to an evening of much laughter heightened by the right measure of pathos. Come and experience tears, treachery and .. just a little murder!

In this stunning work written by expert classical translator David Stuttard, Fenella Fielding and Stephen Greif ’s voices interact brilliantly in moments of contemplation rising to high drama. Even though oodles of years have passed since the original Greek works were written, human nature and emotions haven’t changed one bit!

About Fenella
The much-loved veteran actress has graced the stage for an incredible six decades. Fenella has been hailed as ‘England’s first lady of the double entendre’ and is known for her seductive image and distinctly husky voice. She is also well known for her appearances in the iconic ‘Carry On’ films.

About Stephen
Stephen is a familiar face and voice to generations of TV viewers, cinema and theatre fans. His screen credits range from ‘Citizen Smith’ and ‘Blakes 7’ through to ‘Eastenders’ and ‘Holby City’ to ‘Casanova’ to ‘Boogie Woogie’.
