Celebrating the women disrupting the status quo

 

Join us for an inspiring panel talk on Tuesday 7th March to mark International Women’s Day as we celebrate women disrupting the status quo in the worlds of fashion, sustainability, art, food and beyond…

 

Hosted by Nicki Chapman, TV presenter, Radio broadcaster and good friend of the House, we’ll be discussing this year’s theme #EmbraceEquity as we get to know the women who are shaking things up within their industries to invoke change and challenge social norms.

 

Tickets are £25 and include a cocktail and delicious canapés.

 

Panellists

 

Alicia Agneson  – Alicia Agneson is a Swedish internationally acclaimed actress, environmental activist and sustainability advocate based in Stockholm and London. After deciding three years ago to stop purchasing newly produced clothes, she has since held several sustainability panels across fashion weeks as well as being the Global Sustainability Fashion Director for fashion-tech brand Yaytrade.

 

Marine Tanguy – CEO of MTArtAgency, Forbes 30 under 30 and Entrepreneur of the Year, Marine has been an advocate for artists since a young age and opened her first art gallery in Los Angeles at age 23. After seeing the restrictiveness of the traditional gallery model, Marine launched MTArt Agency in 2015 to build the reputations of the most incredible artists. Fast forward to today and MTArt Agency is worth £35 million and is the art sector’s leading talent agency representing some of the most talented, forward-thinking artists in the world, working with global organisations and cities, and nurturing its international community of art lovers and collectors.

 

Mira Manek – Founder of Chai By Mira and Author, Mira’s bestselling cookbook is a collection of modern and traditional vegetarian recipes rooted in her Gujarati heritage interspersed with family stories. As a health and wellness coach, she combines her training as an Integrated Health Practitioner, her knowledge of Ayurveda, the practices of Emotional Freedom Technique tapping and Breathwork to help her clients define their goals and reach their potential. She is also currently a lecturer at the College of Naturopathic Medicine.

 

Noëlla Coursaris Musunka – Noëlla is a Globalfund Ambassador, International model and the Founder & CEO of Malaika, a grassroots non-profit that educates and empowers girls and communities in her home country of the Democratic Republic of the Congo through a school, community centre and clean water program. In 2017, she was named one of the BBC’s 100 Most Influential & Inspirational Women of the Year, in 2018 she received an award at the 100 Years of Mandela celebration and in 2022 she was honoured as a Daughter of Greatness from the Muhammad Ali Center.

 

The panel discussion will be followed by a Q&A session.
