Fun Science Sunday and Lunch!

EVENT INFORMATION

The team from Mother Nature Science will ensure your children get hands-on with a whole array of fun bespoke science demonstrations and experiments!

The ‘Professor’ has been watching a lot of movies about super heroes lately and knows that the class could be super heroes too – all they need to do is work out how (with a little help from science). Imagine being able to spin fast enough to ‘knock’ villains out of the way, covering yourself in slime, conducting electricity!

After a lunch break, the class will experience some wacky workshops including ‘Loopy Lenses’ – enter a micro-world and design their own bug magnifiers; ‘Skeleton Jigsaw’ – the mini scientists will think about the uses of bones in our bodies and take home a jigsaw skeleton; ‘Safe Landing’ – look at air resistance from the sky and create home-made parachutes; ‘Voice Warp Finale’ – our scientist get to sing and speak into our voice warp microphone with hilarious pitch changing results!

The event is suitable for children between 5yr and 11yrs.

We invite Home House grown ups to relax and enjoy our Sunday lunch whilst the children are entertained!

Please ensure that all children arrive promptly at 1.30pm.

Cost: £29 children (entertainment and light lunch), £25 adults (3 course lunch)
