EVENT INFORMATION

The light and church-like Sainsbury Wing in the National Gallery holds some of the finest Renaissance altarpieces in the world.

To get ourselves into the Christmas spirit, join guide Richard Stemp of Art History UK to view this wonderful collection of Annunciations, Nativities and Adorations by the likes of Filippo Lippi, Piero della Francesca, Carlo Crivelli, Leonardo da Vinci, Sandro Botticelli, Bartolomé Bermejo and Jan Gossaert.

Wherever you look, mythical angels will be flapping their magnificent wings at us!

Itinerary:
7.00pm: Meet for drinks in the National Gallery Cafe (on the right hand side as you come in through the St Martin’s Lane restaurant).
7.30pm: Tour begins
9.00pm: Tour ends

Cost: £22 member, £26 guest including welcome drink.
