EVENT INFORMATION

Another popular rehearsed reading of a new play by writer/director Antony Zaki.

Antony Zaki presents: “TICK TOCK THE CUCKOO CLOCK”

Cartwright Adley is a Tax Inspector, yet yearns to be a writer. Escaping to a friend’s cottage, convinced it will ginger up his algebraic intellect, he shares his failings with a stuffed owl and a cuckoo clock. At the cuckoo call that invariably defies actual time, he is called upon by four unnatural strangers. Personages of literary eloquence, knowledge, and extraordinary imaginings. To help? To learn? Or simply to be more than he thought possible? Love transcends all life but no life transcends all time
