EVENT INFORMATION

We are delighted to be working with leading talent management agency, Kruger Cowne to host what has become one of the event industry’s ‘must-attend’ events, The Kruger Cowne Breakfast Club.  The monthly event brings several icons from the company’s portfolio of influential speakers from John Simpson CBE to Sir Bob Geldof.  With two 15 minute talks, the events will offer a thought-provoking start to the day.

Spaces are extremely limited to come and listen to this month’s guests:

Charles Spencer

Charles became the Ninth Earl Spencer on the death of his father in 1992. He was educated at Eton College and obtained his degree in modern history at Magdalen College, Oxford.

In the 24 years since Lord Spencer inherited Althorp, his family’s ancestral seat in Northamptonshire, he has striven to make a positive difference, by taking an uncompromising approach to the continuing well being of the Estate.

Earl Spencer’s illustrious career includes the roles of peer, author, print journalist and broadcaster. A godson of Her Majesty the Queen, Earl Spencer’s career as a writer and journalist saw him become a reporter for NBC’s Today show from 1986 until 1995, the author of five books, which includes The Sunday Times bestseller Blenheim: Battle for Europe. In 2003, he founded the Althorp Literary Festival, which is now in its 13th year and has established itself as one of the key events of the English Summer Season. The annual Althorp Food Festival, which was set up in 2015, takes place in September.

Lord Spencer is a strong supporter of charitable and humanitarian causes, both near and far.

Tim Samuels

Tim is an award-winning documentary filmmaker, broadcaster and author. He has received three Royal Television Society awards and his film A Dirty Weekend in Hospital became the best documentary at the World Television Festival. His book: Who Stole My Spear? will be published this year and will focus on the theme of masculinity in the modern age.

The aspiring young journalist began his career when he was 13 years old, interviewing Morrissey, who was the chart topping pop star at the moment. Tim later became a correspondent for Newsnight and was soon chosen as the Young Journalist of the Year.

Nowadays, Tim Samuels dedicates his time to documentary production and portraying serious social issues, including the state of cleanliness in our hospitals, the global impact of the porn industry, the importance of treating PTSD and immigration.

For his work, Samuels has been honoured by the New York Festivals, received the reputable Making A Difference honour from Mind Media Awards for his work on mental health and announced as the ‘Journalist of the Year’ by Race In The Media.
