EVENT INFORMATION

Cyber Security, a world at risk: the US Democratic National Convention hacked via email. Who’s next?

Our biggest security weakness..

From individuals to large companies and now the US Democratic National Convention, we continue to fall victim to cyber crimes and hacks delivered via email. Criminals and state sponsored groups have huge success using email to hold our files for ransom, commit wire fraud and steal sensitive documents. These attacks are consistently successful because of our nature; we are trained − to click on things!

With gratitude to the Global Policy Institute, join us at the Persuaders to learn about the latest hacking trends and how to protect yourself and your company from falling victim.

Andrew Martin is Technical Director at Secgate and an industry leading security professional and holder of the Security Expert (GSE) designation, one of approximately 150 worldwide. His previous roles include: Head, Information Risk Response & Intelligence for HSBC.

His key subject matter specialisms include Risk Management & Governance, Security Operations, Vulnerability Management and Regulatory Compliance.
